Comienza momentos después de haber escapado con vida de la cabaña en llamas, gracias a la intervención de "Abrigo Rojo". Spencer, Hanna y Mona afirman que la verdadera identidad de abrigo rojo y por lo tanto, quien las ayudo, es nada menos que Alison Di laurentis, lo que deja a las mentirosas cuestionarse nuevamente si su antigua amiga realmente murió. Por si esto no fuera suficiente, la disolución de parte del equipo A: Mona, Toby y Spencer (quien se unió al grupo brevemente), han "provocado" al resto de los miembros del tenebroso clan, quienes comienzan a expandir sus objetivos al comenzar a atormentar a Mona y a los seres queridos de las chicas. Adicionalmente, un par de detectives de la policía de Rosewood: Gabriel Holbrook y la teniente Linda Tanner, han posado su interés por resolver los homicidios del oficial Garret Reynolds y el detective Darren Wilden, con el fin de descubrir el vínculo entre estos crímenes y la desaparición de Alison.

The girls are reunited when they each begin receiving threatening messages from someone named "A," suggesting Alison is actually alive - and watching them.

The presence of Mrs DiLaurentis continues to unnerve those around her, especially when she gives Hanna a parrot, whose gift for mimicry provides an insight into Alison's last days.
