Michael Curtiz (24 de dezembro de 1886 - 10 de abril de 1962), nascido Manó Kaminer, foi um diretor de cinema húngaro-americano. Ele teve créditos iniciais como Mihály Kertész e Michael Kertész. Dirigiu mais de cinquenta filmes na Europa e mais de cem nos Estados Unidos. Os mais conhecidos foram The Adventures of Robin Hood, Angels with Dirty Faces, Casablanca, Yankee Doodle Dandy e White Christmas. Ele prosperou no auge do estúdio da Warner Bros. nas décadas de 1930 e 1940. Curtiz teve menos sucesso a partir do final da década de 1940, quando tentou passar da direção do estúdio para a produção e o trabalho freelance, mas continuou trabalhando até pouco antes de sua morte.
