1. What Movmania is

Movmania is a database of American movies with search, personal lists, recommendations, movie trivia games, a daily challenge, polls, achievements and features to use with friends. The games only award points, ranks and badges — never money or prizes.

2. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old. Give accurate information, choose a strong password and keep it secret; you are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us if you think it has been compromised.

You can delete your account at any time on the "Account" page.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use Movmania to: insult, harass or threaten others; pick offensive nicknames or names, or ones that impersonate another person or the service; cheat in the games or leaderboards; run bulk automated access (bots, scraping) or try to bypass security limits; attack the system or harm how it works.

We may remove content, reset nicknames, and limit or close accounts that break these rules.

4. Friends, reports and blocks

Your nickname and display name are shown to the people you connect with; your email is never shown. You can block someone or report an inappropriate nickname or behavior; we review reports manually.

5. Third-party content

Movie and people information, posters and photos come from third-party sources such as TMDB and the IMDb datasets and belong to their respective owners. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Data may contain errors or be incomplete, and the country of origin of some movies is estimated.

6. Availability and liability

The service is provided "as is". We may change, suspend or end features at any time and do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the service.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. Significant changes will be announced on the site or in the app. Continuing to use Movmania afterwards means you accept the new version.
