The body of a young woman is discovered in the icy water of the Oder River. The investigation into the case is led by Katarzyna Zawieja, a young police officer who never gives up easily. It becomes evident that the investigation goes beyond the murder, as the woman gave birth shortly before her death. But where is the baby? For Katarzyna, the search for the newborn baby means she must confront her own circumstances: a woman in crisis after her husband's death. The fight to find the baby will become a fight to find herself.

Hay nuevas pistas y evidencias que apuntan a Kosiński, el esposo de la víctima. Zawieja lucha por balancear su trabajo y su vida personal.

Zawieja y Trepa visitan el hospital psiquiátrico donde trabajaba la víctima en busca de pistas. El fiscal Strzelecki recibe un paquete sospechoso.

La policía busca al paciente Wróbel mientras Anka Janas es llevada al hospital. Zawieja busca información sobre Wróbel en una prisión en Goleniow.

La fiscalía toma el caso de Magda Kosińska, pero Zawieja investiga por su cuenta. El bebé sigue desaparecido y las nuevas pistas no llevan a nada.
