Afin d'arrêter le Seigneur Zedd, venu remplacer Rita dans la lutte contre le Bien, les Rangers ont besoin d'assembler leurs DinoZords aux TonnerreZords. Peu de temps après l'arrivée du Ranger Blanc, Jason, Zack et Trini partent pour la Suisse afin de présider la Conférence Mondiale de la Paix. Ils lèguent leurs pouvoirs à trois de leurs amis : Rocky, Adam et Aisha, qui deviennent les nouveaux Rangers Rouge, Noir et Jaune. Sans prévenir, Rita retrouve le chemin du Palais du Seigneur Zedd. Elle profite de son repos pour lui faire boire une Potion d'Amour. Celui-ci tombe alors amoureux de la Reine du Mal. Les deux tourtereaux démoniaques ne perdent pas de temps et se marient sur-le-champ.
