"Ripple tells the story of Mikey, a young man haunted by his past. At nine years old, he witnesses his older brother's arrest, exacerbating his stutter. Struggling to speak, Mikey visits his brother in jail but remains silent. Fourteen years later, Mikey, now an aspiring journalist battling his stutter, lands a job at a small-town publishing house. Urged by his mother, he attends his brother's parole hearing, but his stutter prevents him from speaking up. Motivated by a desire for closure and a grieving sister's plea, Mikey investigates his brother's crime for an article, risking his emotional well-being as he confronts his brother. Through the process, he finds love and professional success in unexpected places."
